21 coins today have a market capitalization of more than $ 10 billion. We look at them – and find that pure cryptocurrencies have now become almost rare. But what dominates the market?

Hardly anything says about the current status of the crypto market like a look at the usual rankings of cryptocurrencies based on their market capitalization, for example on Coinmarketcap.com.

We all know that Bitcoin has recently reached a new all -time high that Ethereum is currently floating on the cloud of all -time high, that Shiba Inu Dogecoin recently replaced the throne of the Memecoins.

What we also know is that there are currently 108 «unicorns». By “currently” I mean yesterday afternoon when I started this text and with unicorns cryptocurrencies with a market capitalization of more than one billion dollars. This term comes from the startup world, where it distinguishes those companies that achieve an evaluation of more than one billion dollars.
